Eastern Dance Artists of Hawaii In
honor of International Women's Day, the Middle Eastern Dance Artists of Hawaii
(MEDAH) will hold a charity Hafla on March 13th at Ward's Rafters, showcasing a
variety dance styles - from the traditional to the modern - from around the
world.
Kalae Ala Moana show
The event itself is free, but your generous donation will go to CARE, a huma...nitarian
organization that empowers women to help their families and communities escape
poverty. CARE also delivers emergency aid to survivors of wars and natural
disasters, and helps people rebuild their lives.
In Haiti, CARE is providing emergency shelter, improving sanitation, preventing
gender-based violence, and assisting pregnant women and mothers.

planning our next Hafla on March 13th at Ward Rafters, 3810 Mauna Loa Ave.,
Honolulu 96822. In celebration of International Womens Day we are donating all
the proceeds from this event to care.org, an organization helping women in
Haiti. So we hope you will join us to celebrate dance and support a great cau...se.
